Network Commercial Performance Analyst

Since the end of 2022, we have started developing a new MSC Air Cargo solution in response to customer demand and as a complementary service to its container shipping solutions.
YOUR IMPACT
To support the growth of MSC Air Cargo activities, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Network Commercial Performance Analyst who will be responsible to support the growth of MSC Air Cargo by playing a pivotal role in the Commercial Performance and Network Development department in the design, development and implementation of the MSC Air Cargo strategy. The objective will be to maximize financial return by optimizing fleet deployment aligned with customers demand and aircraft performance.
As a Network Commercial Performance Analyst, you will oversee:
* Monitor and analyze global air cargo markets, trade routes, and demand trends using both internal and external datasets.
* Evaluate market share, capacity developments, and pricing trends across key cargo lanes and commodities.
* Interpret and synthesize data from sources such as IATA CargoIS, WorldACD, and national trade databases
* Track and assess competitor activity including freighter and belly cargo networks, fleet changes, and partnerships.
* Collaborate with cargo sales, operations, and network planning teams to align data-driven insights with business goals.
* Contribute to forecasting models for volumes, yields, and capacity planning.
* Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
YOUR BACKGROUND
* Work experience in aviation/logistics preferably Airline Network Planning
* Ability to communicate with different level of leadership
* Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
* Be able to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment
* Commercial orientation and liaising with customers
* Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment of a startup business
* Familiarity with BI tools - a significant advantage
* English mandatory, French and/or Italian a plus.

* Based in Geneva.

* EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit is required.
