On behalf of our Client, we are looking for:
Mechanical Development Engineer (DE+ENG)
Location: Wil - hybrid
Workload: 80-100%

What you'll do:
1. Drive design, implementation, and validation of product innovations and improvements
2. Develop mechanical and thermodynamic calculations and simulations
3. Create and evaluate development concepts based on technical requirements
4. Use creative engineering techniques from ideation to detailed design
5. Collaborate closely with process, automation, and control engineering teams
6. Lead sub-projects within multidisciplinary, international development projects
7. Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with applicable standards and regulations
What you bring:
Required Qualifications & Skills
8. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (Master's preferred)
9. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar development engineering role
10. Proficiency with MS Office, Inventor, and common design/simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, MDesign, SimScale)
11. Strong German and English communication skills
12. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong execution skills
Desirable Additional Skills
13. Knowledge of thermodynamics, particularly in roasting or similar applications
14. Experience with hygienic design, food safety standards, and various manufacturing technologies
