About the role
As a Business Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing BCP’s in-house business applications. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that the business application landscape effectively supports our banking operations.
Key responsibilities
* Maintain and develop in-house business applications.
* Analyse business requirements, design, develop, and implement new features.
* Use, develop and maintain a full DevOps environment to ensure seamless application lifecycle management.
* Ensure operational and production monitoring of developed applications.
* Develop automated application control tools for enhanced efficiency.
* Implement and maintain interfaces between banking applications.
* Develop BI reports and applications to support business intelligence needs.
* Maintain and update related documentation and procedures.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HES / EPF) in Computer Science or equivalent.
* At least 4 years of experience in business application development.
* Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and complex queries (SQL, PL / SQL, data modeling).
* Proficiency in Full Stack Development: Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
* Agile Methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban) is required.
* Knowledge of BI tools (SAP Business Objects, QlikSense) is an asset.
* Solid experience with DevOps & CI / CD technologies (example: GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonar, Nexus).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage projects independently.
* Fluency in French and a good level of English.
* Professional experience in Trade Finance and Banking is highly desirable.
