Senior IT Service Owner & Application Responsible - FIS Applications
Job description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure stable applications/services, incident and problem management, and application lifecycle for Financial Information Services (Financial Information Sheet (FIS)), including Bloomberg, LSEG, Reuters, MarketMap, and FIS Global
* Service Operations: Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the IT service, ensuring it is delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs and OLAs
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyse the IT service, identify areas for enhancement, and implement changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
* Business analysis, solution design, development, testing, and implementation of offices (Run‑the‑Bank – RtB) and changes (Change‑the‑Bank – CtB), coordinated with the vendor or software provider
Requirements:
YOUR PROFILE
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field
* 3+ years' experience as a Senior IT Service Owner or Application Responsible
* Solid understanding of IT governance, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management at a strategic level
* Experience conducting or approving analysis and design prior to development
* Lead or actively contribute to development, testing, and deployment activities in line with standards and best practices
* Hands‑on experience in installing and configuring hardware and software
* Advocate for and support agile methodologies and tools
* Proficient in Unix and Windows Server environments, including application support
* Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Independent worker with a high sense of ownership and accountability
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
* Effective negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups
* Fluent in English; German is a plus
