Responsibilities
In this challenging position as part of our ambitious future fuels global project, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation within the marine engine development sector. Your primary responsibility will include, but is not limited to, testing our latest prototype design with cutting-edge measurement technologies. Additionally, your tasks will include:
* Leading performance, components, and system tests in our R&D test center in Oberwinterthur
* Preparing test programs in cooperation with stakeholders (internal experts or external partners)
* Evaluation, calibration, and installation of test/measurement equipment
* Post-processing and analysis of measurement data and creating test reports for stakeholders
* Organization, maintenance, and quality control of test components and measurement equipment
* Continuous optimization of operational excellence concerning processes, methodology, data acquisition, and analysis tools
Requirements
* BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Marine, Mechatronic, etc.)
* Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines, thermodynamics, and data acquisition
* Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., AVL Concerto, Matlab, Excel)
* Experience with SPS and measurement technology (e.g., AVL Indicom, HBM Quantum X)
* General knowledge of data communication protocols (CAN bus, Modbus)
* Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
* Team player with good communication skills
* Willingness to support mechanical tasks
* Fluent in English and German
