This global role is at the forefront of driving technological excellence within our organization. In this role reporting to the Head of Operations IT, you will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of application management, landscape management, team and talent management, vendor management, and cost management with regards to the Manufacturing Execution Systems (PAS X, PI, Elpro and other applications) in the responsibility of the team. The role is instrumental in shaping our IT landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful solutions.
Your tasks
* Maintain the applications strategy and roadmap for the ME landscape in alignment with the business units, the business objectives and the Bachem IT applications strategy.
* Collaborate with business units to manage their demand, understand their requirements, ensure prioritization, and align solutions with business needs.
* Oversee the lifecycle of ME solutions, from planning and development to deployment, continuous improvement, and ongoing support.
* Enforce compliance with established processes for IT service management and computer system validation during application development, maintenance, and support.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, IT, OT and business SMEs to ensure ME projects deliver the expected value.
* Lead and mentor a high performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Evaluate, select, and manage third party vendors and partners with the support of IT Operational Excellence and GRC.
Your profile
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
* Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing ME applications and projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

* Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
