The Head of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial performance, ensuring compliance, and contributing to its strategic direction. This leadership position oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the financial strategy for the service subsidiary, aligning with the holding company's overall financial objectives.
* Oversee all financial operations, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, to ensure seamless execution.
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, guaranteeing adherence to Swiss OR and IFRS regulations.
* Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax, audit, and legal obligations in Switzerland.
* Supervise and manage the finance team, fostering mentorship and development opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial strategy, cost management, and efficiency improvements.
* Work closely with CFOs of other subsidiaries and other heads of departments to support the company's broader strategic goals.
* Lead initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
* Higher education in business administration (Master's degree from an FH or University) with a specialization in corporate finance and/or controlling (CPA is an advantage).
* At least 10 years of experience in finance roles and several years of leadership experience.
* Business fluency in English and German (German at least at B2 level).
* Experience in international organizations, ideally on a corporate level within the retail or FMCG industries (experience in Big 4 is an advantage).
* Strong Excel skills and generally IT-savvy.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
* Analytical, conceptual, and innovative thinker, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* High level of flexibility, ambiguity, commitment, independent working style, team spirit, and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
