Hardware Product Owner & Development Engineer
We are seeking a versatile Product Owner & Hardware Development Engineer to join the multi-disciplinary team in a dual-function role. You will split your time between hands‑on hardware development (electronics or mechanical engineering) and driving the team’s agile delivery according to the Scrum/Kanban approach (part of the SAFe framework). Your core responsibility will be Backlog Refinement, skillfully breaking down complex Features into granular, well‑defined User Stories. You will own the tactical prioritization to ensure the team consistently meets its Iteration Goals, collaborate with engineers to prioritize technical debt and architectural enablers, and act as the primary interface managing communication between the development team and external stakeholders.
As a hardware development engineer you will dedicate part of your time to translate technical requirements into robust electronic designs while carefully considering costs, reliability, tolerances, and serviceability. You will design functional electronic/mechanical architectures, ensure all system interfaces are properly defined and integrated, work closely with different disciplines (firmware, software, test, electronics and mechanical engineering) to execute instrument integration tests, and author, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to comply with internal processes and medical device regulations.
