For our client F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., we are looking for a qualified Operator MAB Upstream Processing (m/f/d) to support the Large Molecules Manufacturing (MAB) operations at the Basel site.
In this role, you will support GMP-compliant upstream production activities for monoclonal antibodies, contributing to the fast transfer-in of Ocre and the manufacturing of clinical and PPQ batches. You will work in a 6/4 shift model and perform hands-on production tasks, including raw material weighing, sampling, laboratory activities, and equipment cleaning.
You will operate in a highly regulated GMP environment (Zone C/D) and actively support plant maintenance activities, material management, and electronic documentation using MES/PLS systems. Close collaboration within the shift team is essential to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality production processes.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to Roche’s large molecule manufacturing by supporting reliable upstream operations in a dynamic production environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Weighing of raw materials
2. Sampling
3. Laboratory work: Cellcount, pH, etc.
4. Supporting plant maintenance activities
5. Cleaning
6. Material management (local storage areas)
Must Haves:
7. Vocational degree, technical background / understanding and manual skills required, ideally Biotechnologist
8. 1 year experience in Pharmaceutical / GMP production environment
9. Physical work is required. Supporting the weighing processes and the handling of raw materials
10. Basic MS Office skills, working with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system)
11. Fluent German (min. B2) in speaking and writing
12. Team work
