PURPOSE
As an Ambassador of A. Lange & Söhne inside and outside the showroom, the Senior Watch Advisor aims to provide an excellent customer experience. Working within a professional and dynamic team, the role involves achieving sales targets through creative and effective use of resources, retail, and CRM tools (iCM). Responsibilities include preparing monthly action plans, managing all sales process steps, and offering exclusive customer service aligned with brand guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES
* Meet personal sales budgets in line with brand retail strategy, ensuring compliance with group procedures, legal, fiscal, and customs regulations.
* Maximize profit while controlling costs such as discounts, expenses, and third-party commissions.
* Analyze missed confirmed sales with the Assistant/Salon Manager to refine future sales strategies.
* Organize private viewings with potential VIP clients in your region.
* Discuss business opportunities and action plans for potential prospects with the Assistant/Salon Manager.
* Build and implement action plans to achieve personal sales targets.
BRAND AMBASSADORSHIP
* Ensure excellence within and outside the salon environment.
* Provide exceptional client welcoming, handling, and servicing.
* Continuously learn about products and the brand to become a reference for the Maison.
* Demonstrate brand ambassadorial skills with clients, VIPs, and third parties.
* Maintain the salon's appearance and adhere to brand guidelines and concepts.
* Assist in implementing and maintaining visual merchandising concepts.
CUSTOMER & CRM ACTIVITIES
* Deliver service excellence at all times within the salon.
* Foster a positive, helpful, and confident atmosphere.
* Participate proactively in VIP and order activities, leveraging salon opportunities.
* Build genuine relationships with customers.
* Manage VIP, customer, and prospect databases for sales and marketing.
* Handle client complaints carefully and report product-related issues promptly.
* Coordinate repairs and after-sales matters with Sales Administrators.
STORE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
* Participate in stocktaking and quality control activities regularly.
* Implement measures to prevent stock discrepancies.
* Ensure timely replenishment of stock and manage active orders.
* Maintain salon timepieces, including straps, polishing, and servicing.
* Represent salon management during their absence.
FINANCIAL & CASH CONTROL
* Comply with procedures and legal regulations.
* Handle credit card transactions and cash register operations securely.
REPORTING
* Report opportunities and incidents promptly to the Assistant/Salon Manager.
* Share innovative practices and ideas to improve salon operations.
* Maintain good relationships with neighboring boutiques and competitors.
TEAMWORK
* Share ideas and knowledge with team members and colleagues.
* Maintain professional appearance and behavior according to company policies.
* Support colleagues during sales activities and participate in training sessions.
* Assist in onboarding new salon staff.
YOUR PROFILE
* Positive attitude and understanding of luxury client experience.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the watch or related luxury field.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Flexible to adapt to changing schedules.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
