As a Inspector in Quick Turn Services (Bad Zurzach) you will perform inspections on engines, engine modules, and engine parts according to manufacturer manuals. You will create repair orders related to the inspection results (findings), and, if necessary, you will coordinate with the Engineering Department and/or Technical Support Specialist. The Inspector will also be trained and capable of performing/supporting standard QTS engine jobs when needed.
Your tasks
* Identification and reduction of non‑value‑added activities (waste) as well as safety, environmental and health hazards and implementation of 5S principles to ensure a clean working space.
* Regular task completion on engines (daily business) and evaluation of the technical condition of engine parts according to valid manuals and regulations.
* Creation of job orders related to inspection results and ensuring all removed modules and parts are correctly tagged.
* Performing in‑process inspections and final inspections, and pursuing clarification with engineering in case of findings.
* Creation of inspection reports for engineering/customer to allocate the parts condition.
Your profile
* Technical education (4 years or equivalent).
* Experience in aviation or the technical industry.
* At least 2 years of experience in an engine shop.
* Good knowledge of MS Office.
* Self‑sufficient and accurate working style.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
