Model-Based Control Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
1. Perform requirements analysis and define detailed technical specifications
2. Analyze and understand controlled processes, often characterized by non-linear and time-varying dynamics
3. Develop control software strategies using Model-Based Design methodologies
4. Implement, verify, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality control software solutions
5. Ensure full compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout the entire V-model process
6. Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project delivery
7. Contribute proactively as a collaborative team player within multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
Requirements:
8. MSc in Control Engineering (or an equivalent discipline), preferably with specialization in internal combustion engines or mechanical engineering
9. Strong expertise in advanced model-based control methodologies
10. Proven experience in the model-based design and development of MIMO systems; prior application within internal combustion engine systems is highly advantageous
11. Experience in developing embedded real-time applications for distributed system architectures
12. Solid proficiency in software design and implementation using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
13. Familiarity with Git and the Atlassian Jira/Confluence workspaces is considered a plus
14. Very fluent in English
15. German language skills are considered an advantage
