DevOps Engineer Space C5I
You can move it
* You contribute to the conceptual development and construction of IT architecture in the space sector
* You design, build and operate an IT infrastructure for highly secure applications
* You review technical requirements in cross-functional collaboration
* You ensure the necessary development, testing and production systems, including networks
* You evaluate and select systems as well as software components
* You define configurations and system integrations, considering subsystems such as data center, virtualization and security
* You contribute ideas and solutions to ensure and further develop stable systems
* You create and maintain the system documentation
What you should bring with you
* Completed degree in computer science or a related technical field
* Several years of professional experience as DevOps or System Engineer, an advantage if in the space context
* Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
* Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems as well as networking technologies
* Architecture expertise in virtual server environments is an advantage
* Experience in the space sector with TMTC and onboard computers is an advantage
* Strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and excellent self-management
* Solution-oriented and connected thinking mindset
* EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (due to security screening)
* Business fluent in English (written and spoken) with German skills (advantageous)
