As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a new colleague to join us in the role of
Senior Electronics Engineer (80 - 100%)
at our Swiss headquarter in Dietikon (Zurich). In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in optical engineering to the development of innovative opto-mechatronic systems, making a significant impact on the future of diagnostics and life sciences.
What you can expect:
Development of sophisticated electronics for "smart optical modules" from prototype to series production
Circuit design and simulation using modern development tools
Programming of associated embedded software
Designing suitable test environments for the qualification and production of modules or systems
Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary and international development team, development partners, PCB manufacturers and customers
Support in the further development of laboratory equipment and development processes as well as in the estimation of product and development costs
Review and expert advice on electronic designs from other project teams
Your profile:
Completed engineering degree (BSc, MSc) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering
Several years of experience in the development of complex embedded electronics
Very good knowledge of analog and digital circuit development and layout, preferably with the Altium tool
Knowledge of simulating and testing electronic circuits
Several years of experience in the development of embedded software for ARM-based microcontrollers in C/C++
Know-how in architecture and design of HW and embedded/real-time SW
Experience in the development of regulatory medical or IVD products is a plus
Fluent in both spoken and written English and German
High level of quality awareness, personal responsibility and motivation
Experience in optoelectronics, photonics or related fields of optical sensor technology is desirable
