Your Mission:
As a
Procurement Project Manager
, you will lead a wide range of projects in the area of
Direct Procurement
, working closely with stakeholders and adjacent functions. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve state-of-the-art
procurement processes
and digital procurement solutions, leveraging both traditional and agile methodologies.
Your responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute procurement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
* Monitor project execution, ensuring progress, quality, and adherence to targets
* Identify, report, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues when necessary
* Lead global sourcing and benchmarking projects using modern digital procurement tools
* Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams across internal and external partners
* Continuously improve procurement processes, identifying automation and cost-saving opportunities
* Run data analytics and data intelligence to deliver weekly/monthly reports supporting governance and decision-making
Must-Haves:
* University degree, ideally in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Life Sciences
* Extensive experience in procurement or supply chain, delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, cost optimization, operational efficiency, or procurement digitalization
* Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management within regulated industries
* Solid project management experience, including risk management, reporting, and execution in complex environments
* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
* Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with data visualization tools and database applications
* Proficiency with enterprise systems and procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar
* High proficiency in English with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of Python or other programming languages
Certifications (e.g., PMP, CIPS)
Proficiency in German
