Job Description
* Manage the procurement process for coal, ensuring quality and cost‑effective sourcing.
* Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
* Monitor inventory levels and forecast future coal requirements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful COAL MERCHANT should have:
* A strong background in procurement, particularly within the Coal sector.
* Proficiency in supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Fluency in English; additional languages such as Ukrainian are an advantage.
* A solid understanding of market trends and supplier management.
* A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, or a related area.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
