Role Description
We are seeking an experienced professional with over 8 years of work experience (preferably) in high-voltage (HV) technology, including GIS design. The successful candidate will join the Electrophysics Team, responsible for developing next-generation environmentally friendly and smart equipment for global power networks.
This role involves collaboration with various departments locally and globally, coordination with external parties such as component suppliers, sub-system suppliers, software suppliers, and customers worldwide, and representing our company at fairs, conferences, and international committees.

This position reports to the CEO.
Job Responsibilities :
* Lead and support R&D projects focusing on environmentally friendly and digital high-voltage circuit breaker technologies, developing innovative solutions for a cleaner and smarter energy landscape.
* Analyze data from R&D testing to identify patterns, trends, and insights for product and technology improvements.
* Utilize advanced simulation tools, such as 1D simulation software, to organize, perform, and manage parametric and sensitivity studies on design and optimization.
* Maintain and enhance simulation tools and models for accuracy and reliability.
* Participate in initiatives related to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applied to R&D, exploring new innovation avenues.
* Represent the company in international committees like CIGRE, IEC, and IEEE, with opportunities to publish research papers and deliver presentations.
* Support the global organization on topics within your expertise, sharing insights to foster collaboration.
* Lead open innovation projects with external partners, fostering collaborations to drive breakthroughs.
* Coordinate projects with universities and research institutes globally to advance R&D efforts.
* Design, develop, and analyze high-voltage components, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
* Conduct feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, and simulate performance of new products.
Your Profile :
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields in Energy or Power Systems.
* Over 8 years of experience in GIS/SF6 high-voltage equipment development or design.
* Project experience with high-voltage circuit breaker technology.
* Strong knowledge of high-voltage insulation and international standards.
* PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
* Proficiency in 1D simulation tools and programming languages such as Python and/or VBA.
* Experience with CFD simulation methods is a plus.
* Knowledge of LCA-driven design principles in energy systems.
* Fluent in English.
* Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
