About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate handling of orders, high productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Supplier Invoice Management: Oversee the supplier invoice approval process, including verifying amounts against agreed rates and resolving discrepancies.
* Intercompany Disputes: Identify and dispute incorrect intercompany invoices in SAP.
* Cost Entry for Customer Invoicing: Input additional costs to be included in customer billing.
* Gross Profit Accuracy: Ensure correct Gross Profit (GP) calculation per file, monitoring for consistency and accuracy.
* Claims Management: Open claims for damaged containers with the Legal Team and maintain coordination and communication between customers and legal departments throughout the claims process.
* KPI and Analysis Support: Assist the Management Team and/or customers with the preparation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational data.
* Container Tracking: Maintain and update the container tracking table to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
* Invoice Processing Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of processes for daily tasks.
Requirements
* Good command of Excel (regular use of tables, filtering, data entry, formulas)
* Proactive mindset in improving daily tasks and seeking relevant information
* Good general understanding of maritime transport and Incoterms
* Clear and effective communication skills
* Educational Commercial apprenticeship
* Relevant working experience
* Language Skills: Fluent in English and French; German is an asset
* Computer Literacy: MS office skills, SAP, CW1
