While our headquarters are based in Switzerland, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Europe. The Esports Operations Lead reports directly to the Chief of Sport, who is based in the United Kingdom.
ESPORTS OPERATIONS LEAD (m/d/w)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and driven Esports Operations Lead to oversee the operational delivery of Racing Unleashed’s competitive ecosystem — both online and in our international lounge network.
You will be the central link between competition planning, rule management, and event execution, ensuring seamless operations across all formats and markets.
This role requires a detail-oriented executor with a passion for Esports or motorsport, exceptional coordination skills, and the ability to deliver flawless events that meet the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of all Racing Unleashed competitions, both online and in-lounge.
* Plan, organise, and coordinate competition calendars, schedules, and formats.
* Maintain competition rulebooks and documentation (results, standings, regulations).
* Ensure consistent enforcement of rules, fair play, and disciplinary processes.
* Communicate proactively with drivers, teams, and event staff regarding operations, registrations, and results.
* Oversee Race Control operations during competitions.
* Coordinate with lounge staff to ensure technical and logistical readiness.
* Support broadcasting and media teams with access, data, and live event coordination.
* Manage operational reporting and provide insights for continuous improvement.
* Work closely with the Chief of Sport and other departments (Marketing, Technology, Lounge Operations) to align competition delivery with strategic goals.
* Ensure operational consistency across all regions and event formats.
* Contribute to innovation and process optimisation within the Esports ecosystem.
Requirements
* Proven experience in competition or event operations, ideally within Esports, motorsport, or live event management.
* Strong organisational, communication, and project management skills.
* Familiarity with competitive structures, rule management, and event logistics.
* Experience coordinating live or online broadcasts is an advantage.
* Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
* Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
* Passion for Esports, racing, or gaming is highly desirable.
