Process Engineer Tendering - Combustion Boiler

Responsibilities include:
1. Developing conceptual process design, sizing, and costing of Combustion and Boiler systems during the proposal phase of large Waste-to-X EPC projects globally.
2. Preparing combustion diagrams, heat & mass balances, process flow diagrams, and performance and functional guarantees in collaboration with Chief Engineers.
3. Optimizing system integration into the plant to ensure competitiveness, and coordinating interfaces with disciplines such as process, electrical and control, layout, steel structure, civil, construction, procurement, and logistics.
4. Reviewing contract specifications, identifying project risks and opportunities, and participating in technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and partners.
5. Calculating budgets for engineering and procurement scopes, supporting RFQ preparations, and analyzing supplier offers.
6. Compiling offer documentation, deviations, bill of quantities, and electrical consumption lists.
7. Handover to the project execution team.
8. Maintaining tendering know-how, tools, templates, and implementing lessons learned from projects.
Minimum requirements include:
1. At least 5 years’ experience in an international EPC environment (energy, renewables, oil & gas).
2. Degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (Bachelor/Master, FH/TH).
3. Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process engineering and understanding of technical cost drivers.
4. Experience in Combustion and Boiler systems is a plus.
5. Strong analytical and communication skills.
6. Autonomous, proactive, curious, and team-oriented personality.
7. Fluent in English; additional languages are welcome.
