GBTS Visual Database Engineer
Your Tasks
* Creation of 3D models for real time rendering and synthetic environment from GIS data
* Creation of 3D assets for virtual reality applications including rigging, retopology PBR creation
* Integration and testing of the Synthetic Training Device environment
* Definition and management of Visual Database requirements
* Generation/conversion/editing/integration of GIS dataset
* Support in the preparation of technical proposals
With this you convince us
* At least 5 years experience with 3DS Max and Adobe Photoshop or equivalent tools
* Basic GIS knowledge (i.e. raster color balancing, vector editing)
* Experience with Material Classification for sensor simulation as well as with Openflight is an advantage
* Experience with modelling for VR/AR/XR applications with Unreal Engine 5 is an advantage
* Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions within cross‑functional teams.
* Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level or equivalent); knowledge of German is a plus
