Roleoverview: The European Business Process Lead RTR plays a critical role in shaping the future of Client's operational excellence and takes responsibility for driving the end-to-end performance, governance, and transformation of the RTR business processes. As the senior leader of the Record To Report process, this position holds significant responsibility for aligning business process design and execution with the company’s strategic roadmap and the delivery of the RTR Target Operating Model (TOM). Involving cross-functional leadership, decision-making at the highest levels and engagement with senior leadership, this role ensures processes are effective, efficient and in alignment with the company’s vision for growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
* Driving the effectiveness, efficiency and continuous improvement of the end-to-end (E2E) record to report (RTR) process, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and Target Operating Model (TOM)
* Taking responsibility for the full RTR process lifecycle including design, modeling, implementation, and continuous improvement; ensuring operational goals and standards are met
* Engaging with key business and IT stakeholders to harmonize new rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment and adherence to all business requirements
* Defining, implementing, and maintaining process objectives, rules, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment across regions and functions
* Leading the matrix organization around the business process to drive transformation and process optimization
Key responsibilities cont:
* Managing and monitoring the rollout of new processes and systems, driving continuous process improvements and ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows
* Ensuring the consistency of key performance indicators (KPIs) for RTR processes and roles, providing regular performance reports to European senior leadership
* Monitoring KPIs and identifying areas for improvement, initiating targeted actions to optimize process efficiency and drive continuous improvement
* Fostering close collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure process transformations and harmonization align with overall organizational objectives.
Your Profile
Key and desired skills:
* Educated to degree level in finance, accounting, business administration or related field
* A solid foundation in business principles, finance and accounting operational processes and organizational management
* Demonstrable experience of strategic decision-making at a senior level, particularly in areas of process improvement and change management
* Proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating process improvement initiatives within a large and complex organization
* Previous project experience is advantageous
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven experience in influencing stakeholders in a cross-cultural matrix organization
* Good knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or BPMN
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop practical solutions
* Experience with process modelling and process automation tools is preferred
* Available and willing to travel within Europe up to 40% of the time
* Fluent in both written and spoken English, further languages advantageous.
