Tasks
* Definition and implementation of highly efficient manufacturing processes in accordance with the overall process targets
* Lead or participate in the specification, purchasing, bringing into operation and final acceptance test of equipment as well as the concept of maintenance and spare parts supply
* Train setters and operators to optimally set up an efficient manufacturing process and achieve the targets
* Evaluate and report on the performance of the manufacturing process, identify deviations and initiate corrective actions
* Plan and lead improvement projects to further optimize manufacturing processes (CIP)
* Lead prototyping activities, trial runs, feasibility, and capability studies
* Implement and maintain process documentation including work instructions, setup guidelines and tool lists
* Lead defined tasks for change request
Requirements
* Technical background, preferably an apprenticeship as poly technician
* Additional technical education
* Proven work experience in a similar role in industrial manufacturing
* Excellent process knowledge, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Knowledge of production requirements within the medical device industry are a plus
* Excellent German and advanced English language skills (spoken and written)
* Open communication skills with the ability to work in a global team environment as well as independently
* Ability to travel, conducting your duties abroad (up to 20%)
* Systematic thinking and problem solving skill and attitude
