The Tax Reporting Specialist role covers activities related to reporting to Tax authorities such as FATCA/CRS/QI, Swiss Stamp tax, and Withholding payable tax.
The role includes producing client tax statements for PBRS in Switzerland, as well as PBLU and PBCI.

What you will do:
The role primarily involves ensuring that the regulatory reporting required by the tax authorities is accurate and timely.
This includes regulatory reporting such as QI/FATCA/CRS, from reconciliation to submission, including monitoring, collection of K1, 1042-S forms, and quality assurance.
The role includes:
* Reconciliation and reporting of Swiss Stamp Tax and Withholding Payable Taxes
* Sending tax report solutions to clients
* Supporting the tax reclaim process by collecting necessary documentation and following up until payment is received
As the last point in the operational chain, tax reporting activity monitoring helps detect upstream issues and discrepancies. The role also involves coordinating and managing fixes to improve reporting accuracy.
The Tax Reporting Specialist must collaborate across departments to enhance reporting quality, ensure figure accuracy, and coordinate corrections when errors are detected in reports, systems, or products, requiring both IT and business language skills.
Any system changes, fixes, or improvements must be approved by the service manager before implementation due to the system architecture's complexity.
In this role, you will:
* Support Front Office on tax reporting issues
* Assist offshored teams with tax statement production, follow-up, and issue investigation
* Coordinate with outsourced teams and Front Office for tax reclaim processes
* Investigate business/client issues
* Participate in tax reporting projects to build effective solutions and improve accuracy
* Support offshored teams in producing tax documents for clients
* Produce mandatory documents required by tax authorities
* Ensure tax documents comply with Swiss and foreign tax rules
* Provide timely support to Relationship Managers for issues and requests
* Anticipate RM and client needs for tax reporting
