We're looking for a seasoned expert to join our team as a Structured Products/Derivatives Governance Specialist/Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of derivatives and structured product from issuance to distribution to private and institutional clients
Key Requirements
Extensive experience with derivatives and structured product - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., ESG, EMIR, MiFID, FinfraG, 871m)
Solid grasp of client suitability standards and distribution requirements
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all distributed products meet client suitability standards
Work closely with cross functional stakeholders especially legal, risk and compliance to interpret regulatory requirements, analyse impact of change and develop suitable solutions/governance frameworks
Work with an Agile development team to refine and prioritize features and stories.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, testing and retrospectives
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in JIRA and confluence
Required Experience And Skills
Bachelor or Master university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or financial industry related field
At least 5 years work experience in financial industry with knowledge in product governance / regulatory projects / trading / risk / product issuance flow of cross asset structured products and derivatives
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proven experience as a Product Owner in managing product backlogs, user stories, familiarity with agile methodologies. knowledge of product management tools such a Jira and confluence
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset with an attention to detail and ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner
SAFe, Scrum (preferably)
