Role Summary Members of the system team look after Idiap's infrastructures and equipment. Your Profile HES or EPF computer science engineer or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of experience as a network engineer Recognized ability as a network architect, with experience in the design, and optimization of network services Advanced technical skills in the implementation and maintenance of network services (IPS/IDS/NAC/DNS/DHCP/LDAP/radius/idp) and network concepts such as VLAN(802.1Q)/RSTP(802.1w)/LACP(802.1ax-2008)/routing(BGP or OSPF)/MAC auth (802.1X). Good knowledge of security layers such as SSL/TLS/SSH/IPsec/WireGuard/OVPN Ability to automate work with Ansible, such as managing network configurations Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues. Thorough, pragmatic, able to work both in team and independently Excellent skills in documentation, communication, and project management. Very good knowledge of French and English in both oral and written form.
