The Tax Reporting & Tax Reclaim team in Global Operations delivers state-of-the-art client tax reports and withholding tax reclaim services in a global context of an international bank as well as a continuous focus to improving processes and high-quality controls. The Team Head is responsible for planning and achieving these targets, while supporting and coaching the team. YOUR CHALLENGE Ensure on time, state-of-the-art international client tax report production Ensure timely and accurate processing of withholding tax reclaim applications Adhere to guidelines & policies Manage incidents and resolutions Support the development of new solutions in close collaboration with the product manager Handle single queries of high complexity Responsible for managing the day-to-day usage of key tools and processes Drive continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, automating manual step and controls, enhancing process scalability, efficiency and stability Promote team development through regular coaching and feedback, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge databases and providing training to stakeholders Collaborate with partners/stakeholders YOUR PROFILE Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop professionals in a results-focused environment; experience in performance management, team development and coaching Professional expertise: Multiple years of relevant work experience in client tax reporting, and Withholding Tax Reclaim processing in an international banking context Operational Excellence: Strong track record in managing time critical operations; deep understanding of internal controls and risk mitigation Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with client advisors, managers, and cross-functional partners Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with complex processing & regulatory topics related to client tax reporting and Withholding tax reclaim processing, identifying root causes of issues, and proposing sustainable solutions Project & Change Orientation: Ability to drive the adoption of changes, process reengineering and manage associated risks, ensuring smooth implementation within an operational environment Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Easy Tax client reporting software is a plus Languages: Fluent in German (written and spoken); proficient in English We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
