For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for a Quality / EHS Engineer (m/f/d) as temporary support for 6 months at our headquarters in Reinach BL (close to Basel, Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities of the Quality / EHS Engineer (m/f/d) include:
* Responsible for supplier Quality improvement actions
* Define and perform quality inward inspections via ERP system
* Responsible for leading quality investigations related to non-conformances in the production and customers returns.
* Leading daily Quality meeting following 8D methodology
* Define and implement immediate countermeasures and long-term corrective/preventive actions
* Responsible for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) actions in the plant
* Involved in the introduction and maintenance of quality and occupational safety indicators
* Train and coach employees in the areas of quality, EHS and continuous improvement
Position Requirements:
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
* Few years of practical experience in quality assurance methods and supplier audits in an industrial, manufacturing environment
* Experience with handling quality tools (8D-Report, PSP, 5Why, Ishikawa), MS-Office and ERP systems
* Good analytical skills and enjoy process thinking.
* Experience in Electronic industry
* Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
Preferred/Desired Requirements
* Technical or Engineering education and have successfully completed your studies in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or comparable.
* Knowledge and experience in Lean Management and Six Sigma
