We're Hiring: IT Support Specialist | Must Reside in Switzerland

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive
IT Support Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our employees, ensuring that all IT systems and tools function smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for any IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
:
Provide technical support to internal users, resolving hardware and software issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
Monitor and manage IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Assist in setting up new workstations, ensuring proper configuration of devices and software.
Troubleshoot issues related to networks, printers, operating systems, and other technical systems.
Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and updated, including software patches, antivirus programs, and hardware repairs.
Manage and track IT service requests using helpdesk software, ensuring prompt resolution.
Provide training and guidance to staff on using new technologies, systems, and software tools.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of virtual meetings and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Work with external vendors and IT service providers for more complex issues or system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures, including data security and privacy regulations.

Requirements
:
A
Bachelor's degree
in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Experience with helpdesk software and ticket management systems (e.g.,
Jira Service Desk
,
Zendesk
).
Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools and system administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Must
reside in Switzerland
and have the legal right to work there (
Swiss/EU passport or valid permit
).
Fluency in
English
(both written and verbal); proficiency in
German
or
French
is a plus.
