Your new challenge
In this key position, you will lead a team of five experts and be responsible for the uncompromising quality of purchased components. You will be the strategic driving force at the interface between global procurement and the international supplier base.
Team leadership: Professional and personnel management as well as further development of the SQE team at headquarters.
Supplier development: Conducting audits (VDA 6.3) and supporting quality measures directly at the partners' sites.
Performance management: Increasing supplier performance through KPI tracking and reducing the costs of errors.
Operational release: Responsibility for initial sample inspections (PPA/PPAP) as well as the quality‑related release or blocking of components.
Strategic collaboration: Supporting the Global SQE team in optimizing the worldwide supplier base.
What you bring with you
Education: Basic technical training with further education at the FH/HF level (engineering) as well as a qualification as a quality engineer or auditor.
Experience: Several years of practical experience in supplier quality management and initial management experience in an industrial environment (e.g., automotive, medtech, or aerospace).
Methodology: Experienced in the application of quality methods (8D, PPA/PPAP), measurement technology and auditing.
Personality: Confident demeanor in an open "speak‑up" culture and a high degree of assertiveness.
Languages: Fluent German and English (willingness to travel approx. 10–20%).
