Our Tools for Life Sciences teams combine engineering skills, biological understanding and cutting‑edge infrastructure to push the boundaries of life sciences technologies. Bringing together emerging micro‑technologies and the biotech/pharma industries, our solutions narrow the gap between applied sciences and industrialization, serving personalized medicine, drug discovery, preclinical drug testing, regenerative medicine, and diagnostics. In this context, we are developing tools to produce, handle and mature complex 3D cellular models, such as organoids, as well as bio‑engineered tissues. Our technologies combine advanced know‑how in cell biology, biomaterials, bioengineering, microfluidics, automation, standardization, and clinical translation.
Intern in Microphysiological Systems
We are looking for a passionate intern in Microphysiological systems, complex 3D cellular models for drug testing, regenerative medicine & bioprocessing – starting as soon as possible – for 6 months.
Your mission
Design, manufacture, assemble and test the performances of systems developed to handle biological models or tissues, as well as biovalidation in cell culture laboratory in biosafety level 2. The work will mostly be based in CSEM Neuchâtel.
Your profile
* You are a motivated engineer (Master Student or higher) in bioengineering or related fields with skills in technical problem solving
* You have experience in microfluidics and/or CAD design
* You have experience in cell culture
* Experience in hydrogels is an asset
* You have experience to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
* You are enthusiastic to interact with colleagues and partners
