Within the area of High Voltage Products, the Technology Center Switzerland is responsible – as part of a global development organization – for the development and optimization of products like Gas Insulated Switchgear, Generator Circuit Breakers, Surge Arresters, High Voltage Interrupter Chambers, Insulation Components as well as Control and Monitoring solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
Conduct high voltage testing and partial discharge measurements in cooperation with customer representatives
Supervise and report any deviations from specifications, ensuring prompt correction
Ensure that on-site work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
Manage the scheduling and coordination of testing activities, including on-site final acceptance of High Voltage Tests
Represent the company at site meetings and along technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure timely documentation including final test reports, protocols, and non-conformance records
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently in a structured and organized manner
Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours
Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage technical clarifications independently
Profound understanding of safety standards and ability to intervene in unsafe conditions
