Microsoft Strategic IT Vendor Manager - this is a long term contract opprotunity to join our globally operating Basel based client.
Your tasks:
* Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft and other vendors, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Foster collaborative partnerships to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance.
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all vendor agreements comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of vendor contracts and performance metrics.
Your experience/knowledge:
* Extensive major IT vendor managment experience, in particular with Microsoft
* Solid record of managing vendors with the ability to navigate, influence and negotiate with stakeholders
* Proven track record negotiating contracts and to successfully renew partnerships while managing concentration risk.
* Deep knowledge of contract law for software and licenses.
* Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
* A high degree of self-organisation and time management
* Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
