Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.About the roleYour main tasks and responsibilities:Provide 2nd‑level IT support, both on‑site and remotely, for all users of Sulzer Ltd, primarily within the assigned region and, if required, across other regionsMonitor and maintain the entire local IT infrastructure, including desktop and mobile Windows devices, MFPs, company‑specific hardware and software, user and access management, servers, network components, etc.Install and configure end‑user devices, including mobile phonesHandle hardware procurement and inventory managementReceive, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests within 2nd‑level support using standard IT toolsEscalate incidents and service requests to 3rd‑level support, external local service providers, or management when requiredPerform tasks in accordance with ITIL standards, primarily using the company’s internal ticketing system ServiceNow (SNOW), while adhering to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Technically coordinate and set up video conferences (Microsoft Teams / Yealink)Manage and maintain internal meeting room infrastructureCollaborate on and support local and global IT projectsTrain and coach new employees and traineesSpecial Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized IT support and daily assistance to VIP users, including support during external executive meetings and town hallsMember of a cross‑functional team (DevOps: Local IT – Datacenter)To succeed in this role, you will need:Successfully completed IT education or trainingSeveral years of professional experience in 2nd‑ and/or 3rd‑level IT supportExperience in VIP support is an advantage (preferably in a comparable corporate environment)Broad knowledge in network (Cisco), DDC (Hyper-V), AD, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Intune etc.ITIL and/or Microsoft certifications (Server / Client / Network) are an advantageVery good English skills and good German skills would be a strong advantage.Strong customer‑ and service‑oriented mindsetAnalytical, structured, and solution‑oriented approachAbility to work independently as well as in a team‑oriented environmentFlexibility regarding tasks and working hours, and willingness to undertake occasional business travelAvailability to work in shift hours (7am - 4pm / 9am - 6pm)What we offer you25 days holidays (exclusive of bank holidays) + service daysDefined contribution pension schemeEmployee Assistance Program/health careOn-site car parking/public transport allowanceAccess to a wide range of discountsNo visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.Do you have a question about the role?Reach out to Alexi Donadoni at alexi.donadoni@sulzer.com.Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
