Scientific Programmes Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the preparation and development of scientific programmes for events at our company in Lugano.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and development of scientific programmes for events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality content.
* Manage Scientific Committees and invited speakers, including coordinating meetings and travel arrangements to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Support abstract management, including submission processes and communication with presenters to ensure timely and effective dissemination of research.
* Contribute to the preparation and updating of online programmes and event-related communications to promote engagement and awareness.
* Collaborate with external agencies for travel, accommodation, and other logistical needs to streamline operations and reduce costs.
* Provide general administrative support to the department, including meeting minutes and expense reimbursement processing to maintain transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
* A degree or professional administrative experience in an office environment, with a strong foundation in organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues.
* Strong organisational and communication skills to navigate complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) to ensure seamless interaction with international partners and stakeholders.
* Experience in event management or interest in scientific publications to drive innovation and growth.
* Residence in Switzerland to enable proximity to our team and facilitate local collaborations.
