Job Title: EHS Manager - Central Production Units Job Description
Are you passionate about promoting a strong safety culture and developing programs to improve performance? We are looking for a professional Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager for our Central Production Units. In this role, you will work together with local operation EHS Managers, Cluster CPU Heads, and Regional EHS & Sustainability Manager to integrate environmental, health, and safety aspects into business practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in CPU.
This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement EHS strategies, provide professional support and training to local EHS Managers, and actively support EHS and risk audits as well as incident & accident reporting, environmental reporting, and Sika Crisis Management. Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing a Vision Zero culture and rolling out EHS strategies in the area.
* Defining measures to improve EHS performance by analyzing KPIs, current practices, preventive measures, and investigating accidents/incidents.
* Providing professional support and training to local EHS Managers.
* Actively supporting EHS and risk audits as well as incident & accident reporting, environmental reporting, and Sika Crisis Management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar education with 5+ years of experience within Health & Safety and/or Sustainability.
* Proven experience in executing complex projects as part of a matrix organization and working with multi-cultural, remote teams.
* Fluent in English and German with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage others.
* Flexible for global travel in the area (up to 50% of the working time).
