Job Overview
The Sr. Manager, EMEA Installation Planning is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic and operational excellence across installation planning activities within the EMEA Cluster. This role supports successful customer installations, business growth, and cross‑functional alignment among supply chain, commercial, and service organizations, while shaping scalable processes that improve performance, reliability, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee installation planning operations for the EMEA Cluster, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient execution aligned with business priorities.
* Develop and implement strategic planning processes to support capital equipment and system installations across global and regional markets.
* Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Commercial, Service, Finance, and Project Management teams to align demand, capacity, and execution plans.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, cycle times, and installation readiness.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing installation planning team, fostering accountability, engagement, and succession readiness.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively manage risks, constraints, and escalations impacting installation delivery.
* Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
* Support transformation initiatives, including digital tools, standardization, and process harmonization across regions.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
* Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience and Skills
* Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, installation planning, operations, or related functions, including people leadership at a manager or senior manager level.
* Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional planning activities in a global or regional environment.
* Proven ability to manage change, drive continuous improvement, and influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience working within regulated environments, preferably MedTech, healthcare, or manufacturing.
* Experience supporting capital equipment or complex system installations (preferred).
* Knowledge of advanced planning systems, ERP platforms, and digital supply chain tools (preferred).
* Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodology experience (preferred).
* Experience leading teams across multiple geographies or cultures (preferred).
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
Other
* Language: English proficiency required; additional European languages preferred.
* Travel: Up to 20–30% internationally within the cluster.
* Certifications: APICS, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma preferred but not required.
