Software Engineer Embedded AI

We are looking for you, as our new colleague and embedded software engineer. In this role, you bridge between cutting-edge AI and ultra low-power embedded systems by developing our embedded AI software stack.

Your tasks
* Implement firmware on a deeply embedded AI platform with tight latency, memory, compute and energy constraints
* Collaborate with our AI and DSP experts to analyze Sonova's audio AI algorithms for hearables and hearing aid applications
* Tailor AI algorithms to the embedded platform (e.g. quantization, scaling according to the memory and compute constraints)
* Optimize performance, energy, latency throughout the entire embedded AI software stack
Your profile
* Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
* Profound experience in embedded C/C++, Python, and object-oriented programming
* Experience with embedded neural networks and their deployment frameworks (TFLite, ONNX, TVM, …), compilers, micro NPUs and system simulations.
* Knowledge in audio processing would be a plus
* Fluent in English
