CT Teaching Certificate in TESOL (Endorsement 111); BA (preferred MA) from an accredited college or university in ELL multicultural education or equivalent. Bilingual (Endorsement #902) preferred
TESOL teachers work with Multilingual Learners (MLs), or those students for whom English is not their primary language to help them acquire fluency in English, both spoken and in the written word.
This position is full-time. The salary and benefits associated with this position are outlined in the current East Haven Education Association contract.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
