Role
As a Validation Technician, you are the backbone of our flight operations. You ensure that our fleet of autonomous drones is airworthy, updated, and ready for deployment at a moment\'s notice. You will manage the validation lab and support engineers during complex field campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Fleet Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on the drone fleet (soldering, mechanical assembly, part replacement).
* Flight Operations: Pilot drones during test campaigns and act as the safety operator.
* Logistics: Manage inventory of spare parts, batteries, and field equipment; organize transport for test campaigns.
* Test Execution: Execute standard test protocols (checklists) and report results to the engineering team.
* Lab Management: Keep the workshop organized, safe, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
* Technical degree or relevant experience in electronics, mechanics, or RC modeling.
* Excellent manual dexterity: soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
* Organized and safety-conscious.
* Drone piloting: Experience piloting multi-rotor or fixed-wing UAVs (certification is a plus).
* Willingness to travel for field testing.
