Overview
The Vocational Training Office (UCFP) is a service of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (DECA) and implements the training policy tasks of the Confederation and the Canton in the field of basic vocational training. It is also a centre of expertise in matters relating to career choice, school and studies as well as an authority that accompanies students throughout their professional careers.
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for all IT-related requests, acceptance, analysis and coordination of faults and support requests.
* Advice, training and support for over 50 employees in the use of IT tools, specific applications and digital work processes.
* Planning, coordination and execution of change and release management processes, and organization and support of tests related to applications and systems.
* Procurement and management of hardware and software including orders, license management, inventory maintenance and installation of IT workstations.
* Assumption of overarching ICT tasks, including coordination, role and user management, data protection, retention and archiving obligations, and implementation and control of information security and data protection measures.
What We Expect From You
* Solid training or professional development in the IT sector and practical experience in ICT support and operation of Microsoft systems.
* Enjoy supporting users competently and solution-oriented.
* Experience in collaborating on projects and implementation, with the ability to actively contribute to defining changes and successfully drive them forward.
* Analytical thinking skills, interdisciplinary understanding of technical and organizational correlations, and clear, comprehensible and respectful communication.
* Independent, structured and reliable working method, with high attention to quality, and ability to maintain an overview, team spirit and commitment even in challenging situations.
* Excellent spoken and written German skills; knowledge of a second cantonal language or other languages is an advantage and facilitates exchange in a diverse environment.
