This position reports to:

Sales Manager

ABB stands for technological expertise in process automation. As a leading provider in this field, the company has a long history of success with numerous innovations. For our sales unit in the Instrumentation business of the Measurement & Analytics division, we are looking for a sales representative in the field who will support our customers with their sales skills, retain them, and acquire new customers for our business. The Measurement & Analytics business unit offers instrumentation solutions for the process industry, including:

* Flow measurement technology
* Pressure measurement technology
* Temperature measurement technology
* Level measurement technology
* Electric actuators & positioners
* Service and digital solutions

As a member of the field sales team, you will be responsible for the sales area of north-western and central Switzerland. Your duties include supporting existing customers, acquiring new ones, and selling our range of measurement technology products mainly at customer premises. Your main tasks include:

* Managing your sales territory in north-western and central Switzerland, inspiring existing customers and attracting new ones.
* Utilizing your experience in selling measuring devices to negotiate effectively and present products across industries.
* Processing inquiries, preparing quotations and concepts, and managing order placements with internal teams.
* Attending customer appointments, supporting via Teams, and participating in exhibitions. Advising customers on technology, conditions, and pricing.

Qualifications for the role:

* Successful degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable field.
* At least two years of sales experience in measurement technology or technical experience in B2B automation and electrical engineering.
* Fluent in written and spoken German and English; French is a plus.
* Strong presentation and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp technical issues and develop solutions.
* Sales-oriented, collegial personality, good at approaching others.
