The Role: What You’ll Do
As Engineering Support Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administrative and technical coordination of engineering processes. You will support both day-to-day operations and ongoing projects, acting as a crucial link between engineering and other departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and updating SAP master data, production BOMs, and service BOMs
* Implementing master data changes in coordination with project managers
* Preparing reports, technical documents, and templates in SAP DIS
* Communicating product approvals and updates to all relevant teams
* Tracking and coordinating engineering change requests and orders (ECR/ECO)
* Advising project managers on administrative workflows and best practices
* Delivering SAP training sessions for colleagues as needed
* Identifying and implementing improvements to existing tools and processes
* Providing administrative support to the Head of Engineering Support and CTO
Your Profile: What You Bring
* A completed commercial or technical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
* Several years of experience in a similar administrative/technical support role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing setting
* Confident use of MS Office; familiarity with SAP is an asset
* A keen interest in technical processes and a solid understanding of how they work
* Excellent German communication skills (written and spoken); English is a plus
* A structured, independent and proactive approach to work
* A positive, dependable and collaborative attitude
