Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. They are undergoing a transformation with respect to culture and outside perception. The organisation focusses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world‑leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.
We are currently looking for a Change Management Workstream Leader .
On a 12‑month contract, with possibilities of extension afterwards, based in Basel office.
Main Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end change management for central monitoring, adaptive monitoring, and trial monitoring modernization globally.
Translate strategic objectives into clear change plans to drive consistent adoption across functions and studies.
Serve as a change thought leader, advising programs and leaders on best practices for implementing complex, cross‑functional change.
Design and execute comprehensive change management plans covering assessment, design, implementation, and sustainability.
Conduct stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and change readiness evaluations to tailor strategies by function, region, and role.
Integrate change management activities with program timelines, operational milestones, and governance structures.
Identify adoption risks early and implement mitigation actions to address resistance, capability gaps, or misalignment.
Measure change effectiveness using defined qualitative and quantitative indicators.
Develop and execute targeted communication strategies that clearly articulate the “why,” “what,” and “how” of central monitoring, adaptive monitoring, and risk‑based quality management.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship.
Minimum 8 years of change management experience, with a track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in regulated or matrixed environments.
Proven ability to lead enterprise‑scale change involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and geographies.
Strong expertise in structured change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent).
Experience supporting operational, quality, or transformation initiatives where new ways of working and adoption are critical.
Fluency in English (native or near‑native).
Proven ability to manage diverse cross‑functional teams, including virtual team members.
Experience partnering with senior leaders and governance forums in complex organizations.
Post‑graduate degree in business, psychology, change management, communications, or a related field is preferred.
Pharmaceuticals experience, particularly in Global Drug Development or Clinical Operations, is a strong advantage.
