CONTEXT Richemont’s regional finance function supports our Maisons in entering new markets and focusing on design, creation, sales, and marketing. It significantly contributes to the Group’s sales growth and operating margins.
The Europe FP&A Controller reports to the Europe FP&A Manager and is responsible for financial planning and analysis of the wholesale business in Europe for a specific scope of Maisons.
The controller is a key contact for Europe Maison Management, Maison FP&A teams, and the Europe finance community. The position is based in Meyrin, Geneva, at the 'Campus Genevois de Haute Horlogerie.'
Coordinate the consolidation of the full P&L and Cash Flow items for a defined scope of Maisons.
Adjust budget figures based on quarterly reviews with stakeholders.
Communicate forecasts and gap analysis to the Maisons HQ.
Europe Wholesale Monthly Closing & Reporting Activities Perform analytical reviews on P&L and Cash Flow items and report results with comments to Maisons’ HQ.
Develop and maintain financial reports to support decision-making.
Support the Management Reporting process by uploading and reconciling monthly results.
Ensure accurate closing in line with IFRS through checks and corrections.
Operations Act as a true business partner, strengthening relationships with Maisons.
Ensure continuous improvement of business processes for efficiency.
Support Richemont Europe Management with ad-hoc requests.
Participate in projects like system automation, process improvements, digitalization, and cash-flow management.
Success Factors Master’s degree in Finance/Controlling or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in finance or audit roles.
Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse is a plus.
Fluent in English; good knowledge of French; additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency in managing large, complex data sets.
Knowledge of visualization and automation tools is advantageous.
