Job Overview
As an experienced Data & AI Consultant, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our Data & AI projects generate the expected impact – from offering development to pre‑sales, sales, delivery, and ongoing relationship management as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
- Help clients achieve their data & AI ambitions on a variety of projects, including:
- Data/ AI Strategy & transformation – identifying value‑adding use cases, assessing client maturity, and executing transformation roadmaps.
- Development of bespoke AI solutions – leading use‑case discovery, managing product backlogs, supervising delivery teams, and ensuring user acceptance.
- Development of data / AI platforms – aligning architectures to user requirements, defining service and operating models, and overseeing delivery of data products.
- Facilitate collaboration between interdisciplinary stakeholders, bridging the gap between delivery teams (Data scientists, Data engineers, Architects, Software Developers) and business stakeholders at all seniority levels.
- Support consultants and business developers across the sales pipeline, from early positioning meetings to the development of concrete consulting proposals.
- Act as an ambassador and thought leader, publishing impactful content and speaking at professional events.
- Develop reusable assets to improve team effectiveness, such as packaged consulting offerings, templates, or demonstrators.
Qualifications
- University degree from a leading institution in business or STEM.
- 5+ years of Data / AI‑related work experience.
- Wide‑ranging data / AI literacy, with opinions on hot topics such as Responsible AI, Agentic AI, Data Mesh, Synthetic data.
- Experience in data / AI strategy, governance, and management.
- Experience in Data & AI implementation projects, from idea to production.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a consulting firm advising external clients.
- Strong consulting foundations: effective communication, project management, running workshops, and structuring consulting projects.
- Professional experience spanning multiple industries (esp. banking, insurance, life science, manufacturing) and functions.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, build, and lead interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Assertive, eloquent, proactive, and enthusiastic.
- Highly customer‑centric and able to think and communicate across disciplines and seniority levels.
- Results‑oriented and capable of winning over stakeholders and decision‑makers.
