Your main tasks
* Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to provide high-quality data for AI, BI, and analytics use cases
* Design, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals
* Translate business needs into actionable insights through dashboards, visualizations, and presentations while keeping stakeholders aligned
* Document solutions according to regulatory standards and share knowledge across the organization
* Monitor, retrain, and maintain models based on feedback and evolving business needs
* Drive adoption of data-driven processes and support stakeholders with best practices
* Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, data engineering, and analytics to enhance solution capabilities
* Optimize cost and resource usage of AI solutions
* Track and report business impact of deployed solutions using KPIs
* Ensure data security, compliance, and ethical standards throughout the data lifecycle
Your profile
* Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-based data products end-to-end
* Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methodology, AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data engineering tools
* Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant technologies
* Solid scientific background in mathematics, statistics, probability, and AI
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and cloud-based data lakes or warehouses (e.g., Databricks, Dataiku)
* Experience in regulated industries, ideally healthcare or MedTech, with understanding of compliance and data governance
* Strong communicator and team player, translating complex technical concepts into business insights while embracing continuous learning
* Full professional proficiency in German; fluent in English
