Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Switzerland, is looking for an Automation and Digitalization Manager to lead the digital transformation of industrial operations. A strategic role bridging IT and production in a GMP environment.
The context
Established manufacturing site with ongoing modernization initiatives. The company is investing in automation and digital solutions to enhance operational excellence. You will define and implement the automation roadmap while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your role
Define and execute the automation and digitalization strategy
Lead the automation engineering team
Manage MES, SCADA, DCS and industrial IT systems
Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives and data analytics projects
Ensure CSV compliance and system validation (GAMP5)
Your profile
Mandatory requirements
Engineering degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in automation/digitalization in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
Minimum 4 years in a management role leading automation teams
Proven experience with MES implementation and management
Strong knowledge of GAMP5 and computerized system validation
Experience with SCADA, DCS and industrial networks
Fluent English required, German or French is a plus
A plus
Experience with data analytics platforms (OSIsoft PI, Historian). PLC programming background (Siemens, Rockwell).
