Responsibilities
1. In collaboration with the Product Manager define the vision for the component/system/product and ensure the agile team understands it
2. Requirements Engineering and User Collaboration
3. Translate the high-level needs into actionable User Stories (Definition of the “what”)
4. Backlog and Prioritization: Manage and prioritize the Team/Product Backlog. Estimation of User Stories with the agile team
5. Overseeing scoping and prioritization during all stages of product creation. Ensure the scope stays aligned with the Definition of Done (DoD).
Profile
6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or a related technical field
7. Experience/ Proven track record as a Product Owner or Project Lead in a hardware-centric environment, ideally within the MedTech or Healthcare industry
8. Technical and Systems Engineering Expertise: Strong ability to define and estimate complex work packages in an engineering context. Familiarity with the constraints of physical product development (tooling, BOM, lead times) compared to pure software Cycles
9. Good negotiation skills to protect the team's focus
10. Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders or clients
11. Methodology: Knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban) and their application in regulated hardware environments
12. Familiar with Azure DevOps / SAP / Google tools
13. Languages: Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is required.
