Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is implementing a new, globally governed MES platform across all its sites. The current Oracle MES platform is being replaced with a new Syncade solution.
The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for onsite project management activities related to the MES NextGen local project at one of their Switzerland sites. They will coordinate the project in collaboration with the Global Program/Project Manager located in the USA, the local Switzerland site IT Site Lead, and the site Business PMO representative.
In this role, they will work closely with the onsite IT and Business Leadership teams, as well as internal stakeholders and external vendors.
The position requires strong organizational, prioritization, financial, interpersonal, and communication skills, mainly with IT Business Partners (IT BPs), IT Data & Compliance Managers (IT DCMs), and the local Business team.
Requirements :
1. Computer science/Information Technology degree or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager in pharma, GxP systems implementation, from requirements to delivery of the final product and documentation.
3. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
4. Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation.
5. Proficiency in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV). Company methods and deliverables will apply.
6. Awareness of 21-CFR Part 11, Eudralex, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
7. Familiarity with Change Management processes, tools, and regulated document authoring.
8. Strong accountability in driving project management.
9. Ability to manage Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects.
